Overview:

We are rapidly growing and are looking to bring in a commercial paralegal to join our team as they continue to implement new ideas and have more of a global impact.

You will work with the Head of Legal to assist with preparing and reviewing legal documents, assisting with the monthly business review, formatting documents and advising on legal matters relating to banking and finance, business and corporate law.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing legal documents including NDAS, service agreements and confidentiality agreements;
• Preparing legal documents including NDAS, service agreements, employment contracts;
• Assisting the recruitment process for new employees and associates;
• Ensuring all legal documents are signed and filed accurately in a timely manner;
• Liaising with and being involved in legal discussions with our external law firms;
• Keeping abreast of legal cases involving DKK and reporting back to the board on any developments;
• Collecting information and assembling the Monthly Business Review for the board;
• Develop a good understanding DKK’s business strategy and support this strategy by giving up to date legal advice and guidance;
• Proactively support the departments’ aims and objectives by assisting in ad hoc projects where required.

Key Skills:

• Two years of previous commercial paralegal experience;
  
• Previous experience working with NDAS;
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
• Excellent eye for detail;
• Ability to manage workload effectively and in a timely manner;
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office, in particular word;
• Must be able to listen to and action directions given by senior members of the team;
• Must be studying or have studied banking and finance law;
• Corporate law and business law is ideal but not essential;
• Law graduate or have experience in shadowing a paralegal is desirable.
